There is NO abstract submission stage for EPJ-ST reviewed papers. After registration of the paper with title, keywords and choice of the subject area, authors then directly submit a full manuscript via ftp or web-upload.
The manuscript will be peer-reviewed according to the usual high standards of the journal. If the reviewers recommend acceptance, authors may submit their final paper for consideration by the editors after revising it in the light of the reviewers’ reports.
The 35 best manuscripts will be published in an issue of EPJ-ST. The issue will be entitled “Advances in the Characterization, Modeling and Simulation of Materials subjected to High Strain Rates”.
Upon notification authors submit a full paper manuscript. The Copyright Transfer Statement has to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Extended deadline: October 31, 2017
Submissions may be original papers (8-10 pages) or short studies (3-5 pages).
Authors will be informed by November 15, 2017 about acceptance for the EPJ-ST journal. If the paper is not ranked within the 35 best papers, a proceeding version (6 pages) will need to be submitted by February 15, 2018. Authors will be notified about final acceptance by March 31, 2018.
